The big day finally arrives for FIFA World Cup 2026™ co-hosts Canada and USA on 12 June, almost exactly eight years since they were appointed to stage this tournament together with Mexico.
Canada's first-ever match as host of a FIFA World Cup™ takes place in Toronto. There will be a European accent to the Group B opener as Bosnia and Herzegovina – play-off conquerors of Italy – provide the opposition.
Later in the day, the eyes of the world will turn to Los Angeles Stadium where USA, kick off Group D. For coach Mauricio Pochettino and the Stars and Stripes, there's the challenge of a Paraguay side who defeated both Argentina and Brazil in CONMEBOL qualifying.
